What is Hypnosis? 

Hypnosis is an altered state of awareness where your concentration is focused on achieving the results that you choose in life. Hypnosis could be described as an induced trance or altered state of consciousness resembling sleep, with the basic principles of relaxation, concentration, suggestion, and repetition. The Hypnotherapist induces hypnosis by gently guiding you into a relaxed and trance state using imagery of serenity, calm, and peace. When you enter this state, the conscious mind takes a backseat and the subconscious mind opens up to suggestions that are acceptable to you. Hypnosis can be beneficial in your life by opening up your subconscious mind to suggestions, you will be able to reprogram the subconscious mind to rid yourself of behaviors or problems you are experiencing in your daily life due to decisions you have made or actions you have taken.

Tremendous results can be achieved when the Hypnotherapist clears away negative emotions and limiting decisions with whatever the client has chosen to work on, clearing the mind of limitations, and enabling the client to reach their unlimited, full potential. It has been scientifically proven that our subconscious mind controls most of our natural reactions, and how we handle or behave in various situations.

When determining how to react, the subconscious mind will refer to the programming it has received over the years. Your subconscious mind will link a certain current situation to a traumatic event or unpleasant experience from your past and your immediate reaction, be it anger, smoking, overeating, binging, etc, will be based on those past negative events. When we clear subconscious programs the magic happens, we transform and transpire to a new healthy reality.

Hypnotherapy is a therapeutic technique that uses hypnosis to promote positive changes in a person’s thoughts, feelings, or behaviors. During a hypnotherapy session, a trained hypnotherapist guides the individual into a state of deep relaxation and focused concentration, often referred to as a trance or hypnotic state.

In this state, the person becomes more open to suggestions and is better able to explore and address subconscious thoughts and beliefs that may be influencing their behavior or emotional well-being. Hypnotherapy can be used to treat a wide range of issues, including stress, anxiety, phobias, smoking cessation, weight management, and more.

It’s important to understand that the hypnotic state is not a state of unconsciousness or loss of control. The individual remains aware of their surroundings and can choose to accept or reject suggestions provided by the hypnotherapist.
